Shardeum has officially launched its mainnet after a testnet phase that drew over 1.4 million global participants, marking a historic milestone for Layer 1 validator node participation. The EVM-based autoscaling network’s testnet generated more than 171,000 physically-run public validator nodes—the highest ever recorded for a Layer 1 testnet.

The mainnet aims to address the ’scalability trilemma,’ offering developers and users a solution that balances decentralization, scalability, and affordability without compromise.
